With your donation, you help fund the purchase of an electric minibus in Ethiopia. The vehicle provides essential school transportation, supports medical transfers, and strengthens local mobility infrastructure. Operating highly efficiently, it consumes only 25 kWh per 100 km while achieving a range of up to 300 km.

The acquisition cost of approximately €41,400 represents a sustainable long-term investment. Through daily operation and targeted rentals, the vehicle is expected to generate around €14,000 in annual revenue. Every euro earned is reinvested locally into social initiatives, emergency medical support, and infrastructure development.

Your donation helps finance the clean energy source that powers our mobility project. The electric bus will be charged using both the local grid and a dedicated photovoltaic system. A modern lithium-ion battery system with intelligent controls and inverter technology ensures that solar energy can be stored and used efficiently around the clock.

Approximately €20,000 is required for the photovoltaic and battery system, with an additional €12,000 allocated to charging and control technology. This €32,000 investment creates a fully renewable, resilient, and energy-independent infrastructure while reducing long-term CO₂ emissions.

Your donation supports the development of reliable charging infrastructure, forming the foundation for sustainable mobility in the region. By installing charging stations locally, we create new jobs, transfer technical knowledge, and open new economic opportunities for local communities.

The system delivers charging capacities exceeding 150 kW per charging cycle. Thanks to affordable local electricity costs, fast charging currently costs only €0.018 per kWh. Revenue generated from the charging stations is reinvested into maintenance, expansion, and local social development projects.

With an unrestricted donation, you provide valuable flexibility and allow us to direct resources where they are currently needed most. This may include medical support, infrastructure improvements, or other essential project components that directly benefit local communities.
